Virtual Tabla Directions
Keyboard directions:
Using your computer keyboard with the virtual tabla is very simple, just use the following key strokes (currently only lower-case keys are supported)
Ta/Na = 'j' on keyboard
Tin = 'k' on keyboard
Ti/Te/Re = 'o' on keyboard
Tun/Too/Tu = 'l' on keyboard
Ke/Ki = 'e' on keyboard
Ge/Ga = 's' on keyboard
Dha = 'j' + 's' (at the same time)
Dhin = 'k' + 's' (at the same time)
TiRiKiTe = 'o' -> 'o' -> 'e' -> 'o' (one after the other quickly)
Mouse directions:
Using the mouse is easy, but more limited than using the keyboard. Just move your mouse over color-sensitive areas of the drums and click your mouse button. Currently there is no way to play strokes such as 'Dha' and 'Dhin' using the mouse (use the keyboard instead)
Cool stuff to try out:
Click the 'TAALS' button to get started with automatic playback of tabla beats. This will give you the ability to make the virtual tabla 'play back' taals (beats) for you. Click each taal's respective 'PLAY' button to play the taal, and 'PAUSE' to stop playing.
Try out:
Play multiple taals at the same time
Play a particular taal, and using your computer keyboard, try playing the same taal yourself or play something with it
